What is tilt tray towing?
A tilt tray truck has a flat deck that hydraulically tilts toward the ground, allowing the vehicle to be driven or winched on from the rear — rather than being dragged up at an angle or hooked under the chassis. This is the safest method for:
• Low-clearance vehicles with splitters, diffusers, or aftermarket exhausts
• Classic and vintage cars that can’t take stress on ageing suspension or body panels
• Performance cars with wide bodywork, lowered ride height, or fixed-damper setups
